Live it up in Town Center!
Town Center, The Woodland's downtown district has really
become a wonderful venue for everyone to enjoy. Exploring
the large variety of shops and restaurants has become a
regular pastime for many Woodland's residents. You will
encounter new department stores and unique specialty
shops and boutiques. Dining options range from casual
street side cafe's to elegant gourmet restaurants, all within
a short stroll or Water Taxi ride. Market Street provides a
captivating "Main Street" shopping experience, and The
Woodlands Mall expands the selection with a more
traditional shopping setting.
The fun does not stop there! The Woodlands Pavilion
offers world renowned entertainment, in an open air setting,
from March through October, from jazz, rock, country and
symphony performances. You can also enjoy movies with
22 screens available at two Cinemark theatres in Town
Center. Night life continues at several area bars and
lounges.
The artist's rendering to the right depicts Town Center's
Waterway Square that is currently under construction. This
distinctive one acre civic plaza and gathering place will be a
tremendous attraction for visitors and residents of our area.
The square will include a "water wall" along the upper level
of the multi level design. There will also be a large
fountain with jets programmed for water performances
choreographed to music. There will also be beautiful
landscaped areas for seating and an interactive area for
children. Bordering the sides and back of Waterway Square
will be an office building, additional shops and restaurants,
and possibly a future residential tower featuring up-scale
condominium units for purchase.
Now, just imagine all of this within walking distance, water
taxi's or a bike ride, when living in Town Center!
